Luna Haertjens was born in Antwerp in 1988. She grew up surrounded by both art and science, a duality that has been a guiding force in her artistic career. Her subjects are usually figurative and highly detailed, often reflecting meticulous observations of the natural world. Through her work, she seeks to uncover and share the hidden beauty of the plants, creatures, and stones around us. By blending the magical with the scientific, she hopes to create something mysterious and exciting.
